Berbere

Berbere is a fragrant Ethiopian spice blend with chilli, cardamom, allspice berries, ajowan seeds and more. It has an interesting spicy and sweet taste which is widely used in stews, vegetable and meat dishes. Traditionally it is used in slow-cooked stews with lentils, beans and meat. It is also great with fish, roast chicken and roasted vegetables dishes.
