Chakalaka Spice

Chakalaka is a popular spicy vegetable relish in South Africa. It is a simple relish made with beans, vegetables such as carrots and tomatoes and spices such as hot chili. Our chakalaka spice has subtle overtones of paprika, curry spice, herbs, ginger, garlic and of course hot chilli flakes. Use to own preference in making home-made chakalaka or use as a spice rub on meat for barbecue.
