Sazon

Sazon is a flavorful seasoning widely used in Spanish and Mexican cuisine. Traditionally it is added to many Mexican tortilla dishes and Spanish paellas where the turmeric overtones makes  the dish a deep yellow color. It has a base of cumin, dried cilantro, paprika and turmeric. Sazon is a versatile spice that adds taste to any dish but it is especially nice with meat, chicken, beans, grains such as barley and rice dishes.
